Guernsey has always been short of statistics when it comes to disabled people. It is one of the reasons it’s been difficult to get any action on developing new services.
But the States have just sent a Health, Wellbeing and Social Inclusion survey to 6500 households which includes questions that should mean we’ll have a lot more data in the future.
It’s all part of the Disability Strategy.
