Advance Voting super-polling station 13-14 June 2020

Parish & Super-polling stations open 16-17 June 2020

The 2020 Election will be the first of its kind with Island Wide Voting (IWV). There are a few changes that our members need to be aware of:

  • We all need to register for the Election Roll - even if you voted in the last, 2016 election. You can do this online on the Election2020 website The deadline for registering for the Electoral roll is 30th April 2020.
  • Like the last election you can register for a postal vote which worked well for many of our members. You can register online on the website here
  • If you are registered on the Electoral Roll you can vote in person at either your parish polling station or at the super-polling station at Beau Sejour. The Beau Sejour super-polling station will be open to all registered islanders (who have not opted for a postal vote) from 8am to 8pm on the following days:Saturday 13 June, Sunday 14 June, Tuesday 16 June, Wednesday 17 JuneParish polling stations will be open only to residents of that parish who are on the Electoral Roll (who have not opted for a postal vote) from 8am to 8pm on Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 17 June 2020. Please note completed postal votes may also be dropped off to any polling station if the return postal deadline has been missed. A postal vote can only be accepted at a polling station if it is accompanied by the ID verification form and return envelope issued in the postal ballot pack.  check your poling stations on the website

The GDA plans to run hustings again before the election. More details to follow shortly
