Biography.
Catherine has been involved with the GDA for a long time due to her role as Chair of the National Autism Society Guernsey branch. Catherine took on the Education representative role for the GDA in 2018.
Catherine has been the Branch Officer for the Guernsey Branch of the National Autistic Society (NAS) since 2011. NAS has been a member charity of the GDA since it’s formation.
She has considerable experience both through her NAS role and as a parent of children with special educational needs (now young adults), of the challenges that children with additional needs have in accessing education.

Catherine is our representative for the Special Educational Needs and Disability Review (SEND) 2020, Education Law review and anything to do with education.
Catherine is also Vice-Chair of the GDA.
