The GDA is managed by an Exec Committee of eleven volunteers – five elected officers and six co-optees. Elections were held at our recent AGM.
Our new Hon. Treasurer is Guy Plummer who is currently Finance Director of RW Randall Ltd. He has an interest in social policy and believes that everybody deserves a ‘fair shake of the stick’.
The office of Hon. Secretary has been taken over by Mary Masnari who works for Specsavers as an International Group Controller. Mary has experience of disability through her own family and previous work.
John Hatton, Director at RG Falla, has taken on the newly created role of Access Officer looking specifically at any issues around physical access.
Rhuaridh Watt, currently training to become a lawyer, is our new (and first ever) Events Officer helping us organise large scale GDA events.
