The Guernsey Disability Alliance welcomes the creation of the new group “Access for All”.
Shelaine Green, Chair and Social Policy Adviser, said:

“We’re really pleased that the new Access for All Group has launched and we look forward to welcoming them as our 36th member charity. Being able to access places, information and services is really important, not just to GDA members, but everyone in the island, including parents with buggies.

“The GDA is a collective voice for all impairments groups and all disability issues, including employment, respite care, education and benefits.  In the absence of a group specifically for access, we have helped out with various requests in the past, but we haven’t been able to really focus on it or take proactive steps to help make Guernsey more accessible.

“With Richard Evans at the helm as its new Chair, I’m sure Access for All will go from strength to strength”.
