The Employment and Social Security Committee (ESS) has published its proposals for age to be added as a ground under the prevention of discrimination ordinance.

It is important that age is covered in this ordinance for anyone affected by disability. As we get older we are more likely to have impairments and having protection from discrimination on the grounds of both age and disability will help to reduce discrimination and provide a recourse should discrimination occur.
