£50k available to benefit older people

Vulnerable older people will continue to be supported by the Guernsey Community Foundation following the confirmation of repeat funding from the Pargiter Trust.
The Foundation distributes funds locally on behalf of the UK-based Charitable Trust which aims to assist disadvantaged older people to be independent, healthy and socially included.
£50k has already been distributed in the Bailiwick since 2014, and now a further £50k has been made available for granting.
Charitable organisations that work with older people are encouraged to apply for funding. The Pargiter Trust defines older people as being over 65 years of age and applications should focus on this age group.
More information about the application process, together with full guidelines for applications can be found on our website at www.foundation.gg/grants-pargiter
The application period is open now. Closing date Friday 31 March, 2017.
For questions or support with the application process please contact Sadie on 748056 or email sadie@foundation.gg
