The GTA are offering a training session at the GTA,Working for a Charity. This is a free, one day course to be held on Monday 16th October. The aim of the course is to equip individuals with a greater understanding of working for a charity, including considering their needs and their role within the charity and the unique challenges that such a role can bring.
They feel it would be beneficial to those who have recently joined a charity or even as support to those who have been involved for some time. The course will be delivered by Richard Hamilton, an experienced tutor who has worked with a number of charities on island. If you would like to send a member of your charity on the training please follow the link above to book, alternatively you can email me and I can book a place for you. Please note a light lunch will be served therefore we would request information regarding any dietary requirements prior to the event.
Three of the GDA team will be there, so come and join us on a very worthwhile day.
