The Committee for Employment & Social Security have submitted its policy letter on proposals for a new discrimination ordinance to cover discrimination on the grounds of disability, carer status and race in the first phase and to expand the protected grounds in two subsequent phases.

The Committee is today publishing a summary of the proposals and an easy read version. These documents and the media release are attached to this email for your information. The full policy letter is available at
