The Arts Commission programme:

“Today is all about our community coming together to celebrate the arts, music and crafts in a “Fun, Free and for everyone” way.

Enjoy the music, dance and performances across the four stages, have fun joining in workshops and browsing the arts market.

The success of Arts Sunday (now in its 9th year) comes from our arts and music community coming together to create this wonderful street festival. We would like to thank all the artists, performers and crafters here today who contribute to such a vibrant event.

We would also like to thank the numerous volunteers that help us setup and take down the event: We couldn’t do it without you!

This year we have been pleased to have engaged with the Disability alliance and a number of local organisations to further promote Inclusivity. We have increased the number of disabled car parking spaces available and the Town Church will be available for anyone wanting a little quiet time, a beautiful building.

We really do want the day to be Inclusive and you will see the Hidden Disability Sunflower logo prominent around the event. We ask everyone coming along today to be conscious of others, young or old, who may need just that bit more of your time, or a seat to rest on while watching a performance.’
