Age Discrimination

Age discrimination is important for anyone affected by disability as we gain more impairments as we age and will also have different caring responsibilities for parents or grandparents etc as well as children and grandchildren. It is important not to be discriminated on age even though we might be protected through disability and carer status. There is also an obvious intersection between age and disability in that older people with impairments might be treated less favourably than younger people with impairments.
